Initiative Overview & Impact Status
Quantum Uganda is a pioneering initiative establishing Uganda as Africa's premier hub for quantum computing innovation, education, and research. We are committed to democratizing access to quantum computing knowledge, building research capacity, developing talent, and facilitating collaboration between Ugandan researchers and global quantum computing networks.
Quantum computing represents one of the most transformative technological frontiers of the 21st century. Yet Africa's participation has been limited. We believe Africa possesses the talent, ambition, and potential to lead in quantum computing. Our mission is to ensure that African researchers, entrepreneurs, and students participate meaningfully in the global quantum revolution—not as consumers of technology, but as creators and innovators.
We are building the infrastructure, networks, and capacity that will position Uganda and Africa as leaders in quantum computing.
Why
Quantum.
